We’re starting things off with 30 EXTRAS you might already recognize, pulled from iconic Collab levels, beloved classics, and even mechanics from Floor is Lava and beyond. And this is just the beginning: over time, we’ll keep expanding this wild library of chaos. To crank things up even further, our team will also be mixing Extras and Abilities in special Events, which every now and then will be even set up in &nbsp;Grand Prix mode. Imagine a Grand Prix where everyone’s flying around with Gliders, dropping Dance Fever zones, and lobbing Crab Attacks at the same time… Pure Stumble madness! Important: This feature is exclusive to Content Creators, so if you’re in the program, get ready to design the wildest matches ever and share the chaos with your community. Regular players will not see this configuration button in their Custom Party menus.&nbsp;<h3>New Level: Spooky Scramble</h3> Summer is out! Mr. Stumble and his crew are back, but this time the lesson plan is pure chaos. Spooky Scramble is an elimination level, in which you’ll run through a haunted academy while being chased by a giant ghostly headmaster who thinks detention should last forever.The halls are packed with spooky surprises: skeleton arms, writhing tentacles, monsters bursting out of lockers, and atmospheric lighting that makes the whole school feel alive (and hungry). We’ve continued polishing the game and squashing bugs to improve your experience in Stumble Guys! Here’s what’s been fixed in Update 0.88:

**General Fixes & Stability Improvements**

- Fixed an issue where the ‘CHOOSE’ button remained visible after claiming all grand prizes in the Banana Bonanza event.
- Resolved a visual overlap in the Epic Skin Wheel reward screen after multiple spins.
- Resolved a bug where an unknown error pop-up appeared after completing a Ranked match.
- Addressed overlapping UI elements for the “Recommended” tag in certain languages.
- Fixed an issue where empty space appeared after managing friend requests.
- Web: Fixed a scroll bug in the Shop after canceling a purchase.
- Improved memory usage caused by Tournaments feature in version 0.84.


**Gameplay & Level Fixes**

- Fixed an invisible collision in Lava Rush that caused characters to hover mid-air.
- Bots no longer get stuck on ramps in Icy Caramba and Icy Heights.
- The “Custom Pool” setting now correctly defaults to “Official Levels Only.”
- Fixed jittery water visuals in the Super Water Slide level.
- The elimination map was not appearing correctly in the Elimination Cup — now fixed.
- Event: Melee (Spatula) now correctly affects other players.
- Incorrect trophy count no longer appears in reward screens.


**Shop & UI Fixes**

- Fixed a visual issue where the multiple spins text layer appeared incorrectly in the One Stop Shop.
- The incorrect reward icon is no longer shown on the tournament reward screen.
- Offers no longer appear duplicated in the One Stop Shop.
- Fixed incorrect background visuals on some store offers.
- Steam: Discounted and original prices for Special Box now display correctly.
- Missing art asset fixed in the 'Gems Sale' offer in the For You section.


**Abilities Fixes**

- The Spatula ability now correctly activates in Bucket Mayhem gameplay.


### KNOWN ISSUES

We’re tracking the following issues and working on fixes in upcoming updates:

- Broken graphics on the Qualification screen after Night Block Dash.
- Web: Game may freeze if tab is backgrounded for ~20 seconds after round one.
- Characters may get pulled by moving objects in Battle Dash Teams.
- XP Road and level-up animation may not trigger immediately on return to Home.
- Golden/Silver skins and the golden hat ability appear dark in modified maps.
- “Invite Friend” toast notification not appearing in Custom Party invites.
- Pink patch briefly appears on animations after returning from One Stop Shop.
- Toast notifications don’t appear after completing a mission.
- Missing thumbnails in Featured Events and Dynamic Containers.
- Workshop: Game can get stuck in spectating after exiting a user-generated level.
- Steam: Pricing for discounted Special Box not shown correctly.
- Ability slots not visible for the host in Play with Friends lobby.

For Season 11 of Ranked, we’re making a key adjustment to improve matchmaking and the overall Ranked experience:

- Smaller Matches, Tighter Competition - Ranked matches now feature 12 players instead of 16.

This change speeds up matchmaking, especially during off-peak hours, and creates more consistent, competitive battles. With fewer players, each match feels tighter, more strategic, and more skill-based, just as our top players have requested.

- Rank Points (RP) rewards have also been rebalanced to match the new 12-player format, ensuring your climb remains fair and rewarding.

- Party Size Adjustments 

With the 12-player format, Play with Friends now supports up to 3 players per Ranked lobby (down from 4).
This helps maintain balanced matchmaking and ensures fair competition across all parties. It’s still the perfect way to climb the ranks with your duo or trio squad.

- Champion Exclusive Reward 

Those who make it all the way to Champion Rank will unlock a brand-new exclusive skin — Champion Knight will be your badge of honor that will showcase your elite skills!

### Changes to MrBeast Content:

As part of the 0.87 update, we’ve removed the Workshop MrBeast-branded content from Stumble Guys due to the expiration of our licensing agreement.

This includes de-branded assets previously used in Workshop maps. As a result, some existing Workshop creations may look and feel different than before.

We understand this may be unexpected for some players and creators, and we appreciate your understanding as we continue to evolve the game and its content.

Introducing **EXTRAS**, a brand-new way to experience events with a powerful twist. 

This feature adds unique functionalities to your gameplay, similar to abilities, but designed to keep things fair and fun for everyone. 

Whether you're surviving in elimination levels, or punching your way through the chaos in race levels, EXTRAS are activated for all players in selected events, bringing a fresh layer of strategy, unpredictability, and pure Stumble madness. 

Some events will let you equip your own abilities, with EXTRAS adding even more tools for chaos. Others will level the playing field by disabling personal abilities entirely. Everyone will compete using the same set of features.


It’s not about picking the best power, it’s about making the most of what everyone’s got. Let the experiments begin!

Build your own path! Walk the Plank lets you drop 
platforms beneath your feet, on the ground or in 
mid-air, giving you new ways to cross gaps, reach 
shortcuts, or help your squad. Each player gets 
2 charges, and anyone can use the planks you place. 
Link them together for epic tricks, sneaky detours, 
or pure platforming chaos.

Release the Crab Attack! Lob a cranky crustacean into 
the fray and watch it scuttle side to side, 
knocking back anyone in its path, friends and foes alike. 	
The crab walks until it hits a wall or a player, 
then flips direction and keeps going. 
Punch it, kick it, dodge it... just don’t get crab-smacked!

Like it or not, It’s party time! Drop a Dance Fever zone around 
you that forces nearby opponents into a groovy 
dance break. While the music plays, anyone caught 
in the area slows down and loses access to their 
own abilities. Keep moving and the disco follows you.
just beware, your dance floor might get crowded fast!

### Abilities Balance Changes

As part of this update, we’ve made a few balance tweaks to existing abilities to keep the action fair, fun, and unpredictable. 

- Invisibility: Duration at max level slightly increased to help you stay sneaky a bit longer.
- Shield: Buffed slightly to match the improved invisibility timing.
- Briefcase Silence: Effectiveness slightly reduced, so it’s no longer stronger than Shutdown.
- Dice Roll: Slightly increased cooldown and a small reduction to max speed. It is still wild, just a bit more manageable.
- Banana: Tweaked cooldown and stun time at max to better balance its impact.

### Bug fixes

We’ve been hard at work squashing bugs and improving your experience in Stumble Guys! Here’s what’s been fixed in Update 0.87:

General Fixes & Stability Improvements

- Promotion tags now correctly show up on static offers in the Shop.
- The “Place in Top 5, 3 times” mission now appears correctly in the Special Missions section.
- Characters no longer overlap the offer titles in the Shop.
- The corrupted star visual effect no longer appears when leveling up in the Stumble Pass.
- Resolved an issue where cooldown for free spin offers did not reset after creating a new user.

Gameplay & Level Fixes

- Fixed a bug where the Chicken Bomb ability only affected the direct target and not players in its area of effect.
- The purple jar from the Chicken Bomb now correctly breaks and creates its area of effect on single tiles.
- Fixed invisible barriers in the Acid Pool map that were affecting gameplay.
- Players no longer get stuck on blocks in the “Block Dash Remastered Giant” and “Block Dash Teams Giant” maps.
- Resolved an issue where bots in the Laser Slide level got stuck and failed to finish the match.
- The pink patch no longer appears on the victory screen in elimination maps.
- The green laser’s kill area has been reverted to its intended size.
- Fixed a bug where the player could avoid yellow tiles by transforming into a chicken.
- Bombs now correctly appear in both “Stumble Up” and “Stumble Up EZ” levels.
- Fixed a missing explosion animation on wooden platforms in the “sh-ARRRRGH-ks!” level.
- Players can no longer jump unusually high in Workshop event maps.
- Players are no longer able to exploit Ranked mode by disabling Wi-Fi.
- Fixed an issue where water from fire hydrants in “Special Delivery” didn’t affect players on the other side of horizontal lasers.
- Resolved a bug where the camera clipped through walls in the “Abduction Avenue” level.
- Players no longer get stuck in the right-side grass area during gameplay on “Jungle Roll”.

Abilities Fixes

- The Hug ability no longer causes characters to slow down over time with repeated use.
- The Shutdown ability now properly greys out after being used.
- Fixed an issue where the Rake ability could go under the floor at the spawn point in “Cannonball Climb”.
- The Block Throw ability and its variants now show the correct visual effects in gameplay.
- Max-level abilities now correctly display their golden border in Custom Party and the Customize menu.
- Abilities and emotes no longer appear banned in Workshop maps after visiting a Ranked mode with banned abilities.
- Disabled abilities can no longer be used with custom key bindings in Ranked With Friends mode (Steam only).

Custom Parties & Social

- Fixed an issue where a negative counter appeared in the HUD when starting an elimination Custom Party with 4–16 players.
- The SFX of the Old Fart skin no longer carries over to other skins after creating a party.

0.87 Patch Notes - Plunder Party!

Console Economy UpdateOn January 27th, 2026, Stumble Tokens will be replaced by Coins and will no longer be available in game.&nbsp;Tokens will convert automatically, and related add-ons will be removed. As part of the transition to Coins, all add-ons offering Stumble Tokens will be removed from the store and will no longer be available.&nbsp;Ability Keys and Tokens will also be purchasable starting December 4th, 2025. We’re always looking for new ways to keep you on your toes (or wings), and this latest ability brings a special twist to your favorite races. Introducing CHICKEN BOMB!!!

## What Is the Chicken Bomb?
The Chicken Bomb is a social ability that lets your Stumbler throw a mysterious flask into the air. Once it lands and shatters on the ground, it triggers an area of effect that transforms anyone caught inside - yes, even you - into a chicken for a short time.

**Yep. A chicken.**

What Happens When You're Chicken-ified?
Once transformed, your Stumbler:

- Gains increased movement speed

- Has reduced jump height

- And, well... looks like a chicken.


## Pro Tips for Using the Chicken Bomb

- Throw strategically: Aim for crowded spots to maximize the mayhem.

- Mind the splash zone: You’ll turn into a chicken too if you’re inside the effect!

- Combo chaos: Use it with other abilities or on narrow platforms to really mess with the flow.

## SHOP UPDATES

New Shop User Interface
We’re excited to unveil a major redesign to the in-game Shop, a change that’s not just visual, but functional too.
First, we’re moving away from side scrolling and introducing a new vertical scroll layout. This change makes the Shop easier to navigate and more intuitive to explore. You can now scroll up and down to view all available content in a streamlined format.

We’re also introducing section selectors (you’ll see these as quick-access buttons on the left side of the screen), which allow you to instantly jump through sections. 

But the most exciting change? We’ve completely revamped how cosmetics are displayed. You’ll now be able to view skins in full 3D, admire their details, and get a better sense of what you’re unlocking. 

On supported devices, you can toggle between the new 3D previews and the original 2D icon displays in your settings. For lower-end devices, 2D will be shown by default to ensure smooth performance—though you can switch to 3D if your device can handle it. We've optimized the experience across platforms to give everyone the best balance between performance and visual clarity.

We’ve squashed a bunch of pesky bugs in this update to make your Stumble Guys sessions smoother and more fun. Here’s everything that got fixed in version 0.86!

**Gameplay & Level Fixes**
- Fixed a rare issue where Stumblers could get stuck floating mid-air when jumping over the vapor vents in Stumble & Seek.
- Adjusted TNT boxes in the Hero Exam level that were slippery.
- Resolved a flickering visual bug for the Stumbler at Checkpoint 5 in Chronos' Trial.
- Fixed a bug where hexagonal tiles in Pac-Man Power didn’t turn red or disappear as expected when stepped on..
- Resolved an issue in The Other Side where players couldn’t join Custom Parties when Challenge Maps and Late Join - - - Debug were both enabled.

**WebGL & UI**
- Fixed a major issue on WebGL where levels would appear completely invisible when shadows were turned off.
- Resolved a WebGL issue where the camera couldn’t rotate fully in fullscreen mode.
- Fixed a bug where FPS dropped when switching between Battle Pass and Home screen (WebGL only).
- The mouse scroll now works properly when browsing Workshop Levels in Steam/WebGL builds.
- Fixed a display issue that was showing wrong information about completed missions.

**Customization & Localization**
Fixed a bug where Abilities and Emotes sometimes failed to appear while playing.
Real-time localization now works correctly for the Controller and Keyboard Bindings menus.
Corrected some translations issues with Epic Bundle offers across all supported languages.

**Banana Bonanza Event Fixes **
- We’ve made several quality-of-life updates to enhance your experience during events and make rewards easier to track and claim:
- Smarter Event Notifications
- When you’ve earned enough event currency to open a reward box, you’ll now see a notification right in the lobby. Tapping it will take you directly to the Event screen—no more guesswork!
- New Event Icon Behavior
- The event icon in the lobby will now transform into a Box whenever a reward is ready to be claimed. This replaces the standard statue icon, making it easier to spot and even easier to collect your prizes.
- Clear End-of-Event Messaging
- Once you’ve collected all available Grand Prizes, the UI will now clearly indicate that you’ve completed the event. No more wondering if there’s one last reward hiding in the background!

### What is the Sahrul Rajuan Skin, and Sahrul Rajuan Choice Event About?

**Q: Tell us more about your skin!**

A: The skin I created represents a pro player, as most pro players in the past used skins that are closely associated with the punch ability! This skin is inspired by boxer skins, which have many variations such as Boxer Floyd, Boxer Amin, and others. Most pro players love this skin. Since I enjoy playing competitively on the Block Dash map, I decided to create this skin.

**Q: Tell us more about your event!**

A: The event I created is a special event for all Block Dash fans across all variants. I have set up three matches in one competition, featuring the following maps:
- Block Dash Remastered
- Block Dash Legendary
- Block Dash Classic

All these maps are available in my event

**Q: Describe your reaction when you first saw yourself featured in the game.**

A: I was very surprised, even for a moment I couldn't believe that I could be featured in the game. This is the biggest achievement in my life, where I can be featured in a game as big as Stumble Guys.

A: They have fully supported me. At first, I was nobody! But with their support, I managed to achieve some of my dreams.

**Q: Which map do you find the most challenging, and why?**

A: So far, the most challenging map is Block Dash because it has a very unique gameplay. When there is one or two different players from before, the gameplay will also be different from the previous match.
